The day was on then off then on again! Some of the group where
hoping to do the Cape Bridgewater Seal Boat Tour and for a variety of reasons
it didn’t look like it was going to run. However due to Noeline's great negotiation skills the tour was back on. When it fell into place it was a bit
of a rush to get there in time. It was worth the effort. The trip
itself, in a semi rigid inflatable boat was spectacular. The rest of the travelers
went on the Portland Tramcar which was also good fun to (D&M did the seal trip
so no photo’s of the tram tour.)
After the tour we then did a quick trip to the Petrified Forest (which is not a
forest at all but solidified rock formations) then back to the Cape Bridgwater Café
for lunch.
From here we traveled via Bridgewater Lakes and Nelson and Mt Gambia to Robe for the nights accommodation
