Robe to Adelaide
Another early start as it is a fairly big drive into Adelaide.
Quite a picturesque route through the Coorong to Meningie. Travelling through the Coorong our GPS tried to
tell us we were 11 meters below sea level at one point. At Meningie we paused for a quick lunch
and where met by Don Bosanquet who agreed to guide us into Adelaide.
Don had picked a route that took us via Wellington and
across the Murray River by Ferry, then through Strathalbyn, then to Adelaide
via the Expressway through the Adelaide Hills, a very long steep downhill grade
that numerous trucks have come to grief on.
